How New Leaf Counseling Is Responding to Covid-19

As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact our local and global community, we would like to personally update you on the actions we have taken as an agency to maintain business continuity and to do our part in limiting the spread of the virus. New Leaf Counseling remains open and we are accepting new clients amidst the current health crisis with several necessary precautions.

Our focus is on the health and safety of our community, providers, and partners while working to support you. We have made arrangements for our New Leaf Counseling team members to work from home, when necessary, as a precaution and have provided all necessary technology and training to ensure success. Whether in the office or remote, we are available to provide the outstanding therapeutic support you have come to expect. In short, we are committed to delivering the same level of care we have always strived to achieve, regardless of the current health crisis.

To ensure alignment with government agencies, we are following guidance from the CDC and the World Health Organization, and are utilizing HIPAA-compliant technology solutions to conduct internal and external meetings. When meeting face to face with one of our Topeka or Kansas City counselors, our staff disinfect between appointments and observe the most current local guidelines which may include social distancing and mask usage.

You and your well-being remain our top priority. With the increased demand for telehealth, we have adjusted our strategies to respond to our clients in a timely manner in order to meet the demand for services.

Please feel free to reach out to one of our team members if you would like to schedule your next counseling appointment.
