Faith-Based Counselors - Providing Hope
NEW LEAF COUNSELING
Adam Lynch, MA, LMFT, Marriage & Family Therapist
The heart and soul of how I help others is as a counselor who meets clients where they are in life, relationships, struggles, and so on... with the goal of gaining your trust and helping move you through discouraging and challenging circumstances, while sharing in God's reality for your life. I have a Marriage and Family Therapy degree from Bethel University in San Diego, CA. As a counselor with New Leaf, I see clients predominantly at the Plaza office, but I am also available to meet with clients at the Zona Rosa and Briarcliff locations.
My education and experience as a therapist since 2010 have prepared me to work with individuals, couples, and families with a breadth of issues related to relationship struggles, addiction, moderate to severe emotional disturbances (anxiety/depression), trauma, and mental disorders. I also am certified in crisis intervention as a pastoral counselor and a Prepare/Enrich facilitator.
I have taught state-credentialed classes on substance abuse in San Diego and instructed classes on psychoeducation, child development, and anger management. I have given presentations on relationships at local Kansas City schools/organizations. I'm on the lay-counseling team at my church. I have also published two online articles on social justice issues, and one magazine article on addiction that was published in a national magazine in 2014.
I look forward to connecting with you and helping you seek God's redeeming work in your life and your relationships.
I am able to accept HSA/FSA card payments.
Please feel free to call or email me if you have questions.
